Client information

Terms of use

Pre-launch requirement: these website terms are a sensible framework, not a substitute for tailored terms reviewed against the final business model, legal entity and charging arrangements.

Nature of the service

This website provides general information and an initial route to a barrister-introduction and administration service. The service is not a barristers’ chambers or law firm and does not itself provide legal advice or reserved legal services.

No retainer or deadline protection

Submitting an enquiry does not create a lawyer–client relationship, amount to acceptance of instructions, stop time running, or transfer responsibility for a court, tribunal or limitation deadline. Do not assume anyone is acting until written acceptance and client-care terms are issued.

Barristers

Any legal work is provided by the barrister identified in the written terms. Barristers are professionally independent. Their practising status, authorisations, service scope, fee, complaints process and responsibility for the matter must be confirmed before instruction.

Accuracy and outcomes

Website content is general and may not reflect your facts or the latest law. No outcome is guaranteed. You should obtain advice on your own circumstances.

Fees and cancellation

Applicable service fees, barrister fees, VAT, payment dates, cancellation rights and refund terms must be set out before paid work begins. Consumer cancellation rights may apply depending on how and when the contract is made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
