A direct route to counsel
We provide access to independent barristers with relevant experience and availability. Each barrister decides whether the case is suitable for Public Access.
Give us the issue, important dates, hearing information and the outcome you need. Do not send original documents.
We identify independent barristers whose experience and availability fit the matter. The barrister confirms whether they can accept the work on a Public Access basis.
You receive written confirmation of the barrister, work, timing, fee and what remains your responsibility before committing.
Public Access is not suitable for every case. A solicitor may still be needed to conduct litigation, handle evidence, correspondence, funding or other case-management work. A barrister must explain any limitation.
Built around the client
We consider the experience your case needs, the hearing location and your deadlines. You decide whether to proceed after reviewing the proposed work and costs.
If direct instruction is not appropriate, we say so and explain the next practical route.
Legal outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Advice should identify risks, evidence gaps and realistic options.
Before instruction, check the barrister’s practising status and Public Access entitlement on the BSB register.
Your client-care documents should state what the barrister will do, what you must do, the timetable, fees and complaints procedure.
Transparent from the outset
Your initial enquiry is free. Before you instruct a barrister, you receive the proposed fee or charging basis, what it covers and any expected additional costs.
A short case outline lets us consider the right expertise and whether a Public Access route may be suitable.
Common for a written advice, conference, drafting task or specified hearing.
Where a fixed fee is not responsible, the basis of charging and likely range will be explained before work starts.
Tell us what has happened, any hearing dates and the help you need. Start an enquiry or message us on WhatsApp.
Confidential initial enquiry
Send a concise outline. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive data at this stage. Submission does not create a barrister–client relationship and does not protect a limitation date or court deadline.
